Lesson 2 - King Henry II and Thomas Becket

A lesson on the relationship between Henry II and Thomas Becket that led to Becket's murder. This is lesson 2 in my series of lessons on Medieval Kings.

Students will watch a 3 minute video with questions alongside. followed by a causation task about why the King and Becket's relationship worsened. There is a storyboard task for the students to present their own intepretations before finally addressing the question of whether medieval kings had all the power.

All of my lessons are designed to last at least 60 minutes, however they can be adapted to fit the ability of your class.
