Lesson 3 - British Empire: India

A lesson about the British Empire in India This is lesson 3 in my series of lessons on British Empire.

Students will watch a short video and answer questions about British rule in India and the formation of the East India Company. There is a storyboard task to allow students to give their own intepretations. We then cover the end of the East India Company and look at an interpretation from  a historian and a colour coding task to examine te lasting impact of the British Raj in Indian.

All of my lessons are designed to last at least 60 minutes, however they can be adapted to fit the ability of your class.
