Lesson 3 - The Battle of Hastings

A lesson on The Battle of Hastings. This is lesson 3 in my series of lessons on The Norman Conquest.

Students will examine the events of The Battle of Hastings through a storyboard and video task. Students will then catergorise the reasons why William won before making a judgement on which reason was the more important reason. There is a writing task with sentence fragments to end the lesson.

All of my lessons are designed to last at least 60 minutes, however they can be adapted to fit the ability of your class.
