Lesson 7 - The Domesday Book

A lesson on The Domesday Book. This is lesson 7 in my series of lessons on The Norman Conquest.

Students will start with a find and fix starter on previous events of 1066. Students are then introduced to The Domesday book and how it came into existence and the role it played in helping William control his kingdom. There is a mix of tasks looking at the impact The Domesday Book had and a plenary of lesson consolidation.

All of my lessons are designed to last at least 60 minutes, however they can be adapted to fit the ability of your class.
