Lesson 8 - Motte & Bailey Castles

Students will study the features of a Motte & Bailey Castle and why they were so useful to William. Students fill identify positive and negative features and how castles changed over time. 

All of my lessons are designed to last at least 60 minutes, however they can be adapted to fit the ability of your class.
