Lesson 9 - Elizabeth's Suitors

A lesson on Elizabeth's suitors. This is lesson 9 in my series of lessons on Elizabethan England. This can also be delivered as a stand alone lesson.

Students will explore the type of husband that Elizabeth may want and reasons why people got married at this time. Students will learn that Elizabeth had many proposals and explore the four main ones. Whilst realising that Elizabeth made a concious choice not to marry, students will decide what the main reasons for her decision were.

All of my lessons are designed to last 60 minutes, however they can be adapted to fit the ability of your class.
